Stuttgart: Edition Hansjorg Mayer. 1965. Folded broadside with letters printed in black to recto side only; text in German; fine.Hansjorg Mayer was one of the most influential actors of concrete poetry and the expeirmental typography of the 1960s.Issue no. 2 in the 'futura' folded broadside series, which was published by Hansjorg Mayer between 1965 - 1968, features a large-scale concrete poem by Burkhardt comprised of overlapping letter structures. The recto side of this folded broadside features a biography of the artist and a postscript by the German scholar and author Reinhard Dohl.In his postscript, Dohl refers to the broadside as an enlightening "map" in the genre of Concrete Poetry.
