Third edition, revised. Publisher's original red cloth with titles in gilt to the upper board, in dustwrapper. With an additional pamphlet by the author from 'Theosophy in Action' and an 'In Memoriam' pamphlet regarding the author loosely laid in. A very good or better copy, the binding firm and bright. The contents with a little spotting to the text-block edge are otherwise clean throughout and free from any previous owners' inscriptions or stamps. Complete with the lightly rubbed dustwrapper which has just a couple of minor nicks to the extremities. Not price-clipped (10s. 6d. to the front flap). The final, extensively revised, edition of this key work by one of the few prominent doctors advocating anti-vivisection in the post-war period, complete in its striking dustwrapper.
