The Furrow Behind Me: The Autobiography Of A Hebridean Crofter, Angus MacLellan, Routledge & Kegan Paul, 1962, First Edition, Second Impression Translated from the Gaelic by John Lorne Campbell, this book tells of the author's memories of his life from his birth in 1869 on the island of South Uist to when he was between 90 and 91 years of age. A First Edition, Second Impression in near fine condition. The binding is straight and tight, the boards clean and the lettering on the spine bright. The end papers and pages are free from marks, tears and inscriptions. There is a small mark to the top edge. The unclipped dust jacket, protected in a clear, removable cover is in very good condition with a sticker mark to the front cover and a darkened back cover. Will be dispatched wrapped in bubblewrap and in a cardboard box.
