Boards with several stains and marks; corners and spine bumped; rubbed especially along edges; spine rather faded. Presentation plate (dated 1904) stuck to front pastedown. Endpapers browned. Foxing on title page; fingermarks on a few pages; frontispiece tissue guard with a tear. n.
