This 3 x 8.25-inch check, drawn on his account at the Security-First National Bank of Los Angeles, is made out to a Beverly Hills stationery company with Gable's bold signature in blue ink on the bottom right. Cancellation holes on the right-center portion of the check do not affect the signature. S…et in a cream-colored matte with a handsome 8.75 x 7-inch black-and-white portrait of a smiling Gable in a pinstripe suit, inside a custom-made black and silver frame measuring 19 x 15 inches.
