Wood engravings by Thomas Bewick. By the author of Mary Poppins. Jacket has minor patchy edge/shelf wear, severe fading to/near spine, a little other minor patchy fading, a few tiny (approx. 3mms) tears, the odd small mark, odd minor crease/rub to edges, minor pushing/rubbing to head/tail of spine and to corners, the odd spot of foxing/patchy browning to reverse (white side) and the occasional small scratch. Boards are near fine (having been well protected by the jacket) with a hint of pushing to corners and very minor pushing/rubbing to head/tail of spine. Pages are generally clean and the binding is tight. Odd small mark/spots of foxing to top edge of pages. Very occasional small mark/spot of foxing to pages. No other faults. A nice copy.
