Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. This is a Japanese first edition hardcover published by Kodansha International Ltd in 1965 AND SIGNED & DATED BY THE AUTHOR IN THE YEAR OF PUBLICATION WITH INSCRIPTION. The jacket is Very Good overall. It has one small chip from the front panel and is price clipped with the ghost of a label on the inside flap, where one was removed. The quality of the paper used for the jacket was poor and so it is off-white browned along the spine and back cover, although not to the point where it makes the book unappealing. The book is Very Good with straight spine, sharp corners and firm spine ends. However the spine itself is faded, although you can ONLY See this if you remove the jacket. The copyright page confirms the first edition state. Signed by Author(s).
