The program committee selected the following major areas for ISMIS 2000: Evolutionary Computation, Intelligent Information Retrieval, Intelligent Inf- mation Systems, Knowledge Representation and Integration, Knowledge Dis- very and Learning, Logic for Arti cial Intelligence, and Methodologies.
