Full-Leather. Condition: Good. Dust Jacket Condition: No dj. Ninth Edition. Text block sound and tight, illustrations in good order, ownername on flyleaf, no other markings. Hinges are cracked and weak on the outtside, the "solid-back" spine is firmly attached, and the inner hinges have been expertly reinforced with cloth tape of a matching colour to the marbled endpapers. The binding is fully servicable as long as the spine is handled with care, there is no risk the boards will loosen. Replacement gilt spine title label. The spine has raised bands and gilt decorations faded in the compartments. The boards have double gilt keylines and corner points. The book worn at corners and spine ends, retains a whole appearance and of course the shelf appeal of a fine book gracefully aged. Size: 12mo.
