    oblong 4to. multiple sheets of handmade paper attached together to form an accordion book. (12) pages. Privately compiled by George Nama and Charles Simic in an edition of only 7 numbered copies, this being number '2'. Inscribed to Michael Broomfield, Nov 9, 2007, by George Nama on the rear flap. Very subtle foxing along the fore-edge, else a fine copy. Handwritten poem by Charles Simic, illustrated by George Nama. "'Eventail' sept exemplaires originaux, no. ." on rear cover. Poet's script and artist's designs have been applied to washes of green, orange, and white over sheets of printed vocal music. Winner of the 1990 Pulitzer Prize in poetry and U.S. Poet Laureate for 2007-08, Charles Simic (1938-2023) wrote moving, surrealistic poetry often based on his own experiences, particularly his traumatic childhood in what was then Yugoslavia.
