Additionally, the front free endpaper is inscribed and signed by IBM President Tom Watson, Jr. to W. L. Stewart (Jr.): "WL Stewart from Tom Watson Jr Christmas 1960." William Lyman Stewart, Jr. was the grandson of Union Oil Co. founder Lyman Stewart. His father William Lyman Stewart was president of Union Oil from 1914-1930. Thomas Watson, Jr. (1914-1993) was president of IBM from 1952-1971. His father, Thomas J. Watson (1874-1956), founded the company and was its president from 1914-1952. A fine association copy.
