Murray, Hodder & Stoughton Ltd, 1945, First Edition, First Impression, Signed Folly Bridge is a stone bridge over the river Thames carrying the Abingdon road south from the centre of Oxford. Set in this city this is a romantic tale of the eighteenth century. There is a plan of Oxford University including all the colleges and the city at the front of the book. This is a signed first Edition, first Impression in very good condition. The binding is straight and tight, the boards are bright in colour, the lettering is clear, there is a small crease to the edge of the front board, and a slight dent in the back board. The end papers and pages are clean without marks tears or inscriptions. The top page edge has retained its brown tint fully. The unclipped dustjacket is in fair condition, with some loss at the top of the spine, some shelf wear to the top edge and sun damage to the spine. Will be despatched wrapped in bubblewrap and in a cardboard box. Signed by Author(s).
