A very good, essentially clean, tight copy in original publisher's green cloth with gilt embossed title to the spine and a gilt embossed vignette of a seaplane to the front board. A quite bright copy. A faint former owner's name in ink to the head of the front paste-down - not very noticeable. A tissue-guarded frontispiece and a further 46 plates illustrate the text - all as called for. A 1.5cm split to the left hand joint at the head of the spine. A light bump to the lower front board corner. Some mottling to the rear board. Over all - a very good copy.
