Paperback. Condition: Very Good. 1st. First printing. 8vo, white decorated softcover. Very bright and fresh copy overall. Neat original owner's name inside. (The orginal owner worked in the Canadian publishing industry and knew the author.) Some minor owner's markings to the text. The fragile covers are bright and fresh, with none of the usual sunning or darkening. No significant creases to the covers, but modest edge-wear and a short edge-nick (about 1/4") to the bottom. The fragile spine shows some edge-wear as usual. One of the nicer examples we've seen of this fragile, uncommon book, in spite of the neat owner's markings. The hardcover is very scarce.

Add to basketHardcover. Condition: Fine. No Jacket. 1st Edition. In FLOWERS TO HITLER, Cohen weaves together reflections of love and life, opaque political commentary, and Canadian in-jokes; there's even a very weird one-act play about body image. It's a fitting showcase for the iconic poet. No dust jacket. Places of highlighting with pencil or ball pen. Places of short reading notes. Reinforced hinge. The front end paper is missing. A solid and square copy. First edition, 7th printing. 128 pp *****.
