Lightly mattedThe Uchida Art Gallery, which is still active, was founded in 1919 in Kyoto as the Uchida Bijutsu Shoshi (Uchida Art and Book Shop). This art bookstore was also a print publisher specializing mostly in shin hangaprints and ukiyo-e reprints. One of its most famous artists was Tokuriki Tomikichiro (1902-2000). Other artists published by Uchida were Hasegawa Sadonabu III (1881 - 1963), Ito Nisaburo (1910-1988), Kotozuka Eiichi (1906-1979), Asada Benji (1899-1984) and Kinu Takeshita.The English language on the label is erroneous, describing this as autumn rather than winter.
