Condition: Good. Color wooduct. 275 x 410 mm. Publisher's chop in the image. Lightly mattedThe Uchida Art Gallery, which is still active, was founded in 1919 in Kyoto as the Uchida Bijutsu Shoshi (Uchida Art and Book Shop). This art bookstore was also a print publisher specializing mostly in shin hangaprints and ukiyo-e reprints. One of its most famous artists was Tokuriki Tomikichiro (1902-2000). Other artists published by Uchida were Hasegawa Sadonabu III (1881 - 1963), Ito Nisaburo (1910-1988), Kotozuka Eiichi (1906-1979), Asada Benji (1899-1984) and Kinu Takeshita.The English language on the label is erroneous, describing this as autumn rather than winter.
