The story of how four German aviators flew from the Rhine to Timor in a Junkers W33D, took off again for a flight to Australia . and disappared. Given up for dead, they were rescued by Aborigines after 57 days with virtually no food in barren Northwest Australia. A classic story of survival, made into an Australian TV mini series in 1985.
