Condition: acceptable. The item is very worn but is perfectly usable. Signs of wear can include aesthetic issues such as scratches, dents, worn and creased covers, folded page corners and minor liquid stains. All pages and the cover are intact, but the dust cover may be missing. Pages may include moderate to heavy amount of notes and highlighting, but the text is not obscured or unreadable. Condition: V. Good. No Jacket. Chicago: Albert Whitman and Company, 1970. Hard Cover. 9 7/8 x 8. First pub in 1955. One in the series of Flicka, Ricka, Dicka books, this copy is the third printing, 1970. In lovely cond. Jade green cloth on boards with 2 colour illust of the children on front cover. Min wear to corners. Very bright and clean, tight. Front endpapers have shadow of erased numbers near top otherwise pristine. Rear endpaper has evidence of a removed library pocket. This book may have been a library book but has no library name or school name. No discard stamp. No chips. Two tears. 13 full page, coloure illustrations. Set in Sweden, three litttle girls de cide to bake a cake for their mother's birthday. Disaster and then success! Maj Lindman's illustrations depict their merry adventure perfectly. Overall cond: good. Hard Cover. V. Good/No Jacket.

This thin, oversized hardcover book has lots of color illustrations. The binding is strong with all pages firmly attached. The prior owner wrote their name and address on the first end paper. The pages are otherwise clean with no soiling or tears. The copyright page shows 1955 as the published date. This is definitely Not a former library book. The blue covers have a color illustration of little girls baking. The covers show just a hint of edgewear and very light soiling. This old book looks and feels great! We always ship in a sturdy cardboard box!
