Ras Mekonnen Street was identified as one of the busiest corridors with lots of traffic volumes and delays at each signalized intersection. This study was conducted in the above selected corridor via data: reconnaissance survey, measure of road widths at the intersection points, analysis of geometric and traffic data, redesigning traffic signals, obtaining and plotting new timings, estimation of average traffic delay and determining intersection capacity and level of service.
