Plentiful facsimiles. Errata slips tipped-in behind front free endpapaers of the first two volumes. Very slight smudging to page tips at bottom. Each of the four volumes cover the alphabet but in repeating fashion, one volume piled upon another. No dust jackets, as issued. Each volume also features a fine, two-page illustrated endpaper, being black-and-white photographs of the American authors covered therein but also facsimiles of memos, title pages, dust jackets and the like.
