RARE The First Decade of Space Research 1968 NASA JPL with letter from Dwight Eisenhower "The first decade of space research: brochure JPL 754," published by the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) in January 1968. Printed by Grant Dahlstrom and Castle Press. The brochure is a publication from the early days of space exploration, documenting a decade of research from the perspective of the Jet Propulsion Laboratory Library and Archives. In addition to the brochure, this series contains a letter to Dr. Lee A. DuBridge on President Dwight Eisenhower letterhead, and facsimile signed, regarding the 10 year anniversary of Explorer I and the program for a special symposium held at Beckman Auditorium which included a presentation by Dr. James Van Allen; the Army's use in Space by Lieut.
