Hardcover. Condition: Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Fair. 1st Edition. True first British printing with original unclipped jacket (42s). Translated from the Russian by Michael Guybon. Jacket has faults - namely edge/shelf wear, pushing/rubbing to head/tail of spine, few marks/old damp patches/patchy browning to reverse (white side), creasing/rubbing to edges, few small (approx. 1cm) tears, pushing/bumping to corners, tiny patchy loss to head/tail of spine, the odd small mark and is in only fair condition. Boards are very good (having been generally well protected by the jacket) with a hint of pushing to corners, odd very small mark, odd minor bump/rub to edges and a little pushing/rubbing/fading to head/tail of spine. Little spine lean. The binding is tight. Previous owner's name in pen to front end-paper. Odd small mark/minor foxing to page edges, tops and bottoms. Few notes in pen to back end-paper. Odd small underline/note in pen to pages. Small mark to lower corner of pages. Pages little tanned. Odd small mark/spot of foxing to pages. No other faults. All books described honestly and accurately. Paypal accepted.
