It was action on the Arno and was part of the forces occupying Germany after the was. In 1946 the Division was deactivated. It was officially reactivated at Fort Hood on March 7, 1951 under Brigadier Genral Bruce Clarke. It played an important role in Exercise Longhorn and then supported operations in Korea. Fair.
