This is the transcript of the Firing Line program taped in Paris on October 27, 1972, and originally telecast on PBS on November 26, 1972. Hosted by William F. Buckley, Jr., the topic was "The Free Market and America"; the guests were Valery Giscard d'Estaing, Finance Minister of France, and Evan Galbraith of the Bankers Trust International.
