Soft cover. Condition: Fine. 1st Edition. A left-stapled transcript measuring 5-3/4" by 8-1/2" and containing 24 pages including front and rear covers. The transcript number, in order of telecast, was compiled and maintained by SECA commencing with the program's move to the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) in 1971 although the number does not appear in the issue. This is the transcript of the Firing Line program taped in London on August 22, 1973, and originally telecast on PBS on September 2, 1973. The host was William F. Buckley, Jr.; the subject was "Democracy and Political Scandal"; the guest was Michael Foot, M.P. The panelists were Peter Riddell, Helene Middleweek, and Roger Evans. Mailing label to rear cover.
