This is the transcript of the Firing Line program taped at KLRN-TV in San Antonio on January 23, 1973, and originally telecast on PBS on February 25, 1973. The host was William F. Buckley, Jr.; the topic was "Texas Politics"; the guests were Frances Farenthold, Texas Democrat, Ronnie Dugger, Editor of the Texas Observer magazine, and Beryl Milburn, Texas Republican. The panelists, all from Trinity University, were: Dr. L. Tucker Gibson, Assistant Professor of Political Science; Catherine Powell, Instructor in Urban Studies; and Dr. M.G.
