The transcript number, in order of telecast, was compiled and maintained by SECA commencing with the program's move to the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) in 1971 although the number does not appear in the issue. This is the transcript of the Firing Line program taped at WMVS in Milwaukee on May 10, 1974, and originally telecast on PBS on June 2, 1974. Hosted by William F. Buckley, Jr., the topic was "How Strong Should the Presidency Be?"; the guest was Eugene McCarthy, former United States Senator. The panelists were Charles J. Sykes, Lynn Bureta, and Roger Pilon.
