An alien space ship crashes in a field on Earth, leaving just one survivor, an alien baby. This is the UK first, with the price of '22s 6d' printed on the lower corner of the front flap. Jacket is intact, and has been protected with a clear, removable cover. Jacket has rubbing wear throughout, and a small chip at the head of the spine panel with some small creases adjacent to the chip. Black cloth covered cover boards, with the title and author name on the spine in silver. Cover boards are flat, the corners are not bumped or worn. No former ownership marks, no writing on the text pages. Edges of the text block are relatively clean considering the age of the book and type of paper stock used. Binding is tight. Not a remainder, no a library discard. Attached photos are of the copy we have in our inventory.
