Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. Copy number 269 of 425 numbered and signed copies, signed by Joyce in green ink to the limitation page. No ownership name or bookplate and with a large number of uncut pages . Author name, title and date to the spine in gilt. Top edge gilt with some surface scratches to the gilt. Pushing to the spine foot, some marks to the cloth of the boards. Binding is very sound, patches of paper peeling from the gutter between the paste down endpaper and the endpaper, exposing webbing, though paper remains in place; concomitant two inch tear to the paste down endpaper; see the photographs. Biro mark to one page. Otherwise a solid and clean copy of a hard to find and highly collectable work of fiction. Lacking the slipcase.
