Binding has litttle wear but three areas of dampstain, two on front about 1 1/2 inchs at top and an inch at bottom at spine. Back cover has two by one inch dampstain at top corner. Spine which has black and red image of man in tuxedo, cigaret in mouth has minimal wear. Hinges are tight and the pages are clean.

Original Cloth. Condition: Good. First Edition. Undated first printing from around 1930 of this omnibus edition containing the first four Bull-Dog Drummond novels. The spine is quite heavily browned and there is some marking and staining to the front and rear panels, light rubbing to the corners and two small nicks at the top of the spine. The page edges are browned with some marking in a few places and a little dark marking to the bottom corners. Previous owner's name in ink at the top corner of the front free endpaper and there is some spotting to the endpapers and the adjacent pages but the pages are generally otherwise unmarked. No jacket.

Red cloth with black lettering and pictorial stamping, pictorial dust jacket. vi, 294pp, viii, 296pp. Near fine/very good. endpapers (only) a tad age toned as usual; jacket a bit edgeworn, with spine faintly sunned. A tight and quite attractive reprint of the third and fourth Drummond mysteries (first published in 1924 and 1926). "Two smashing novels in one volume," screams the front jacket panel. "Six feet of brawn and strength with the courage of a real two-fisted fighter, the devil-may-care Drummond stars in two of the most breath-taking, fast-actioned mysteries ever written." The red cloth spine featuring black image of the top-hatted, tuxedo-clad, cigarette-smoking adventurer is pristine and appealing. British novelist McNeile died in 1937, which perhaps occasioned the rerelease of these two titles.

Original Cloth. Condition: Good. First Edition. Undated first edition. There is a little blistering to the front panel of the red boards which otherwise have only light edge wear and surface marking. The page edges are a little browned with some scattered dark spots to the fore edges and bottom edges. Heavy brown spotting to the half-title and title pages with this gradually diminishing over the next few pages so that from page 20 onwards the pages are largely unmarked - and there is a similar level of spotting at the back of the book. The pages are a little browned but are otherwise generally unmarked. No jacket. First printing.

First American Edition. Scarce Hubin listed mystery novel by the author perhaps better known as 'Sapper', the creator of Bulldog Drummond. In this work Drummond is pitted against his nemesis Peterson who has in his possession a quantity of deadly poison. Near Fine but for a small cloth chip at top spine end, in Very Good dustjacket with shallow chips at spine ends.
