Condition: Good. 1846. Second Edition. 319 pages. No dust jacket. Fully bound in mustard leather with gilt. Marbled end papers and text block edge. This book is in good condition for its age. Pages remain clear with minimal tanning and foxing, heavier at end papers. Previous owner's inscription to front end-paper. Hinges are cracked with exposed netting. Binding remains firm. Boards have mild edge wear with slight rubbing to surfaces. Mild crushing to spine ends, with small splits. Peeling and loss to leather elements. Gilt lettering has become dull. Boards have minor damp and dust stains.
