Hardcover. Condition: vg+. Bookfellow Edition. 84/500 signed Ivan Smith on colophon, with inscribed color post card "Happy New Year Yours Truly Ivan Swift." Quarto. 58pp. Original light brown half buckram over tan paper boards with brown lettering on cover. Tan endpapers. Title page with publisher's device. Laid in printed prospectus "About a Book and A Friend of Yours" with introduction by Ian Swift. "With the certificate of acceptance from magazines of so honest dignity, and so many letters showing interest beyond my expectations from such writers and such men as Robert Bridges, Edwin Markham, H. W. Mabie, William Hayes Ward, George Sterling; and with Carl Sandberg calling it all "inevitable and autobiographical" for better or worsewhat can another add? (I. S.)
