First Edition Signed
A first edition, first printing of 'The Eye of the Wind' published by Hodder and Stoughton in 1961. A very good book without inscriptions - some wear to the board edges and some fading. SIGNED and INSCRIBED on the title page by Scott on the date of publication. In the very good, browned wrapper which is clipped and has a little edge wear. An engaging autobiography by the artist, naturalist, sailor, and conservationist, reflecting on adventure, wildlife, travel, wartime service, and his lifelong passion for birds and nature.
