    Hardbound. Black and gold designed paper boards, approx. 52 pp, 29 BW plates. Beautiful catalog of bindings by the Lakeside Press, a company formed in 1921 with a standard of doing simply the best that could be done. From the foreword, this book was made to represent their progress up to this point, and includes good reference for binding terms and styles. Each plate has a piece of tissue paper in between to prevent spotting and ghosting onto the other page. Good+, ex-lib with bookplate and ID tags, some edge wear, piece missing from upper spine, top left corner missing from tipped-on title plate.
