Sumner was a fisheries biologist at Woods Hole. In his spare time, he worked with white mice, investigating whether acquired characteristics are passed to the next generation. This paper suggests that they may be. Some wear and sunning. Two library stamps, each illegible or nearly so. A Very Good copy.
