154pp, many tables, diagrams, maps, ills etc (Report); x, 43pp, 8pp diagrams, 8 fold out maps (Abridged Report); 21 maps (Maps) 25x20, light card wraps, taped binding (Report and Abridged Report); 34x66, light card wraps, taped binding (Maps) Report has quite a lot marginal notes, covers slightly faded, Abridged Report is very good, Maps volume has been folded into three so is significantly creased. This detailed study concluded that Exeter's rate of growth would soon be constrained by impacts on agricultural land, the coast and other environmental issues. To tackle this problem the recommendation was to urgently consider a new settlement somewhere within the sub-region to absorb the unmet need for growth.
