The first time I have ever seen a slipcased copy. SIGNED BY THE AUTHOR. The Chapters are: One. The Walter Hunt "Volitional Repeater" Rifle; Two. The Lewis Jennings Repeating Rifle; Three. The Smith-Jennings Repeating Rifle; Four. The Smith & Wesson Lever Action Magazine Pistol ("The Volcanic"); Five. The Volcanic Repeating Arms Company Pistols; Six. The Toggle Link and Its Role in Small Arms Development. Fascinating. The top of the spine and book edges very close to the spine are slightly bumped. Otherwise the Book is a clean, bright solid copy in Near Fine condition. The top front side of the slipcase is also slighty bumped. It is also in Near Fine condition. A very nice copy of a Scarce slipcased, signed copy of an important reference at a reasonable price.
