Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. Presents physical anthropology as an integrated field blending studies of fossil man, primates, human genetics, blood groups, and human growth. A clean copy with no writing save for a former owner's name on the front free endpaper, which also bears the stamp "personal copy." Otherwise there is no writing, marks, or underlining. No bookplates or remainder marks. Spine is tight and crisp. Boards are flat and true, and the corners are square. Binding is a bit loose for the first few pages, and there is some very, very slight foxing in places. Dust jacket is not clipped, though there is no price. The jacket does have some flaws. The front cover bears a 1" tear and some creasing at the top, a 1/2" gouge along the spine, and some smaller (1/4") tears along the bottom. The back cover has a 1-1/2" tear/gouge at the top, a 1/4" gouge also at the top, and some heavy foxing/ browning, which manifests most noticeably as a well-defined, 1" border at the top and down the left side. The flaps also have some browning to the edges. This collectible, very good/very good copy is protected with an archival mylar dust jacket cover. Satisfaction guaranteed! Size: 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Book.
