He recalls his childhood in Russia; his years in Monte Carlo during World Wart I; the 1920s when he returned to Paris, visited Hollywood, and experienced the effects of the Wall Street crash; the war years in Paris with their austerity and moments of light relief; the greatest revival of show business in the '50 and '60s and the world-wide acclaim that came to him in the '60s and '70s through a series of international exhibitions." Previous owner's inscription to title page. Light shelf wear to the price-clipped dust jacket. Both book and jacket are otherwise in excellent condition. All contents are tight and clean. There are no other inscriptions.
