Thereby this new approached todesigning and building manufacturing cells canfacilitate rapid and effective design andreconfiguration of manufacturing cell controlsystems. The research has shown how modelled sets ofsoftware component building blocks can be specifiedand implemented as modular, reusable elements ofmanufacturing cell control systems.
