Commander Ian Fleming (mentioned within) was the Admiralty liaison officer visiting Bletchley twice a month; he devised Operation Ruthless, a deception plan to secure an Enigma codebook. This copy is from the comprehensive archive of Ian Fleming bibliographer Jon Gilbert (pencil ownership within), whose encyclopaedic guide to the works of Ian Fleming (2012) won the 16th Breslauer Prize for bibliography.
