Taschenbuch. Condition: Neu. Neuware - 'The Enemy' is a powerful four-act play by Channing Pollock that serves as a poignant indictment of war and the manipulative forces that drive nations to conflict. Set in Vienna at the dawn of World War I, the drama centers on a group of intellectuals and common citizens whose lives are upended by the sudden outbreak of hostilities. As the characters grapple with the physical and emotional toll of the Great War, Pollock explores the insidious nature of hate, portraying it as the true 'enemy' that transcends national borders.
