Hardcover. Condition: Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Good. 1st Edition. True first British printing with original unclipped jacket (12s 6d). Jacket has faults - namely edge/shelf wear, very small loss (mainly to head/tail of spine and to a couple of corners), few small tears, patchy browning (including to spine), few marks, pushin…g/bumping to corners, creasing/rubbing to edges and very minor foxing. Boards are very good with a hint of pushing to corners, the odd small mark and a little pushing/rubbing to head/tail of spine. Little spine lean. The binding is tight. Ex W.H. Smith library sticker inside front board. Mild foxing/odd small mark to page edges, tops and bottoms. Pages little tanned. Couple of scratches to page edges. Very occasional small mark/spot of foxing to pages. Odd spot of foxing to end-papers. No other faults. All books described honestly and accurately. Paypal accepted.
