Tightly bound in red cloth with title and illustration of Horace the pigeon tangled in string on the front cover. Top edges of the cover lightly sun-toned. Corners softly worn. Sprinkling of foxing on the top page edges. Otherwise, the book is clean and unmarked. DJ in good condition with tears on the heel of the spine; tears and missing paper on the top edge. Original price inside the front flap. Unpaginated. Beautifully illustrated by the author in red, black and white. The tale of Horace, his family , a mouse named Picnic and a red balloon.
