Add to basketDisbound. Condition: Fair. Second Edition. 8vo- ca. 5.25" x 8.25" - pages 251 plus blank leaves between most printed leaves- intended for student notes. Covers are lacking- but text block appears to be complete for the subject of Optics. Many of the blank leaves have old ink writing - presumably by a student, though some notes not Optics related. The last printed page before the errata page states it is page 251 and end of vol. 4, part I. A set was printed- combined with Wood's work on algebra. This book appears to be the complete work on Optics, with the other volumes being on algebra - and specially printed for use of students- including the blank leaves - those are lacking here. Overall, binding poor- no covers, contents age toned with moderately heavy foxing and some pencil marks in text as well as student notes on the blank leaves- which makes it interesting to study. Conents fair to good. Due to size and weight shipping outside the USA may cost less than that of an average book.
