Hardcover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. In original French with extensive English commentaries at rear. Tall folio, blue board covers, rubbed at corners, with bluie cloth to spines. Bottom of backstrip on third volume is loose. There is a total of 354 full page b/w plates across th three volumes and, at the rear, typically around pp.20 of modern commentary in English on the plates. Other miscellaneous information in English at the start of each Vol. Each book carries the Whitfield family crest on a bookplate inside cover. This is because these copies come from the LIbrary of the late Sir William Whitfield, 1920 - 2019, the distinguished British architect.
