The first Thin Paper edition combining 'The Dynasts' and 'The Famous Tragedy of the Queen of Cornwall' in a single volume. Issued as Volume II of 'The Poetical Works', it is nevertheless complete in itself ('Volume I' collects the author's several volumes of poetry). 'The Dynasts' was originally published in three parts (1903, 1906, 1908) and first collected in a single ('Complete') volume in 1910. Same owners signature in all three copies, not a married group. Bound in publisher's olive-green cloth, First Volume is a darker forest green compared to Vol. II and III. blocked in gold with TH monogram medallion to upper board, and titling in gold to spine. Deckle edges. Single leaf of publisher's ads to Parts First and Second. Good copies in original cloth with light wear, faded spines, and a few bumped corners. Age-toning, spotting and dust soiling to page edges and onto top margins in some places. Spotting to eps and prelims and occasional minor spotting to contents. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall.
