    Hard Cover with Dust Jacket. Condition: Very Good. First Thus. 256pp incl maps. Plus 6 pages of b&w photos and a frontis photo of the Dreadnought of the Darling. First Australian edition. First published in the UK in 1911. Decorative map end-papers. Red cloth-covered boards with gold lettering to the spine. The pages are age-tanned. The top corners are lightly bumped. Some lines of white discolouration to the back board, a result of the back jacket panel being damp at some point. Some off-setting from the flaps to the end papers. Some foxing to the edges of the text block. The jacket is not price-clipped and has a 7cm split to the top of the front spine fold. The rear jacket flap fold is intact, but delicate. Some chipping to the jacket spine ends. The jacket is now protected and considerably enhanced by a clear, removable sleeve.
