To Edie, Your young brother Maurice [*corrected to Morris at the bottom] has been good, not only to me, but to my boy Peter, who prefers 'The Trojans' to me, (I'll never forgive him). Hope you enjoy this book dear. I wrote it myself!!! Love Jack Train." The author has drawn a little train next to his first initial. Train was a British comic actor best known for his varied characters in the BBC radio series "It's That Man Again.".
