A collection of the author's poetry and drawings - esp. `Hurrah.' where each piece is a page long and consists of a poem and a drawing. `A Letter to God' takes a form in between prose and poetry. Cond: Black and white paper wrapper with Patchen photo on one cover and illus. from `The Celery-Flute Player' on the other cover. P/O names on both pre-titles. All corners are SOFT. Wear at all edges. Spine has heavy wear. Binding tight, soiling light. No tears NOR marks. VG++ reading copy !! Quote (p. 47) : " But I'm not sure. Certainly your patterns are bigger than mine. And . Why don't you come down and carry on your fight? What exactly did you mean when you said ` Thou shalt not kill.' ? ".
