    Condition: Good. 1967. First Edition. 221 pages. Pictorial dust jacket covered in removable plastic wrapper over brown cloth. Pages remain bright and clean with minimal tanning and foxing. Binding remains firm. Dedication to front free endpaper. Boards have light shelf wear with minor corner bumping and crushing to spine ends. Unclipped jacket has light edge wear with minor chipping and creasing. Some tanning and foxing to all surfaces, particularly to spine.

Neville Braybrooke (1923-2001) man of letters: poet, novelist, essayist, biographer of Olivia Manning, editor of literary periodicals (The Wind and the Rain) also literary critic and publisher of Mahatma Gandhi's autobiography. His wife June wrote novels as 'Isobel English' (recently republished by Persephone.) Very good indeed in very good indeed dust jacket. Front panel of jacket designed by Charles Mozley. Signedes.
